Patient-led ordering

As of 12/01/2026, the way repeat prescriptions are ordered is changing. For most patients, this means that instead of your local pharmacy ordering your prescriptions for you, you will need to request medication directly from out GP Practice.

The safest and easiest way to order is via the NHS APP or through the GP practice. This change is part of an NHS initiative to reduce medicine waste and improve patient safety by giving you better control over your medication.

We understand these changes may be frustrating, but we are working closely with local pharmacies to ensure a smooth transition. Thank you for your understanding and support.
